Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before requesting generator rental or repair services from Generator Hive.

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions describe the general terms for using the Generator Hive website and enquiring about our generator rental and repair services. Specific job terms should be discussed and confirmed in writing.

Important: A website enquiry alone does not confirm a booking, price, delivery time, or appointment. Final arrangements must be confirmed by Generator Hive.

2. Enquiries, Quotes & Availability

Please provide accurate contact details, service location, required dates, generator capacity (if known), and a clear description of the job. Quotes and availability are subject to confirmation. Estimates may change if the scope, site conditions, equipment requirements, or schedule changes.

3. Generator Rental

Rental arrangements—including equipment, capacity, rental period, delivery, collection, fuel, operator support, and site access—must be agreed before service begins. Customers should provide a suitable and safe location, disclose relevant site conditions, and use equipment only as instructed and agreed.

4. Payments, Changes & Cancellation

Applicable charges, payment schedule, deposits (if any), taxes, delivery fees, and additional-service costs will be stated in the confirmed quotation or service agreement. Changes to dates, duration, scope, or location may affect availability and cost. Cancellation and rescheduling terms should be confirmed in writing before booking.

Please refer to your written quotation or agreement for the specific payment and cancellation terms.

5. Repair & Maintenance Service

Repair requests should include the generator make/model (if known), fault description, and relevant service history. Diagnosis, parts, labour, travel, and estimated completion time depend on inspection and availability. Any additional work should be discussed and approved where practical.

6. Safety & Customer Responsibilities

Customers must disclose known hazards and ensure the work area is accessible and reasonably safe. Installation, connection, operation, and maintenance should be handled by suitably qualified personnel in accordance with applicable safety requirements and equipment instructions. Never bypass safety devices or use damaged equipment.

7. Delays & Unforeseen Events

Schedules may be affected by weather, traffic, site access, parts availability, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside reasonable control. If a delay or change occurs, the parties should communicate promptly and agree on practical next steps. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Website Content & Updates

We aim to keep website information accurate, but service descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for general information and may change. Generator Hive may update these terms from time to time. Please review the published version before submitting a new request.
